As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility for the Easter Season, the RantHQ Group over the weekend, visited internally displaced persons camp (IDP) in Kabusa, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
During the visit, relief materials like food items, clothing materials, provisions, toiletries were donated to the IDPs.
The leader of the group Suzan Ade Coker who was represented by one of the Administrators, Mrs Stella Udeh while presenting the items, said that this act is one of the ways they give back to the society noting that reaching out to the needy was part of the RantHQ’s usual exercise since its inception in August 2017.
Mrs. Udeh said that the gesture was aimed at bringing succor to the displaced persons during the Easter Season. She further disclosed that purpose is to reach out to displaced persons to touch their lives and show that we care for them.
While receiving the items donated to the IDPs camp include food stuff, cloths, toiletries, the National Emergency Management Agency official at the camp, expressed delight on the kind gesture of the group. The displaced persons, who also trouped out en masse to benefit from the outreach, expressed gratitude to the group for the kind gesture.
The group which is a social group with its dominance on Facebook with over 350,000 members, in the recent past, has indulged in some charity works across the nation, like visiting IDPs camps, Orphanage homes and others.
